Iowa football is always the main topic in Iowa Breakfast Club, Land of 10’s daily Hawkeyes notebook — but we cover news, notes and analysis across Hawkeyes sports. Join us each morning to get caught up on everything you missed in the world of Iowa football, recruiting, basketball and more.
Class of 2018 QB situation

What is missing?
Men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery is trying to figure that out after the Hawkeyes lost five of six. It’s why he’s considering altering the starting lineup for the rivalry game with Iowa State on Thursday.
Where is the sizzle?
Mike Hlas of the Cedar Rapids Gazette believes there is a lack of buzz around the Cy-Hawk basketball game on Thursday. He looks into why.
Long time coming
The Iowa women’s basketball team picked up its first win at Iowa State since 1989 on Wednesday. Tommy Birch of the Des Moines Register recaps the 61-55 victory.
