David Bell, a 4-star wide receiver from Indiana, was in a car accident this weekend and didn’t end up making his scheduled visit to Iowa’s Junior day. Bell didn’t suffer any injuries and is expected to attend Iowa again in the future, according to Rivals’ Blair Sanderson.
Four-star WR David Bell got into accident and didn't end up making the visit to Iowa this weekend. Everyone is fine, he says, and he'll reschedule. https://t.co/mmmmZLYQPm

Bell is also being targeted by Big Ten powerhouses Ohio State and Michigan, and him signing with Iowa is probably a longshot. Nevertheless, that he expressed interest in visiting the Hawkeyes is a big positive for the program.

The 247Sports Composite rates Bell a 4-star recruit. He’s the No. 13 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of Indiana for the class of 2019. He’s also a basketball player at Warren Central High in Indianapolis, IN., but it looks like he’s pursuing a college career on the gridiron and not on the hardwood.
