Iowa TE George Kittle has improved since Saturday. But that doesn’t mean the Hawkeyes can expect him to have a big game.
While speaking on Tuesday’s Big Ten teleconference, Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said Kittle (sprained right foot) “didn’t do much” in Tuesday morning’s practice.
Per Ferentz on B1G tele: Kittle "didn't do much" today and "for us to count on him I think that's probably unrealistic at this point."

Kittle got injured in Saturday’s 49-35 win at Purdue. After the game, Ferentz admitted it’s a kind of injury where there’s no clarity on how long Kittle could be out. The X-ray was negative.
“I don’t know if that means two days or two months,” Ferentz said on Saturday. “You never know.”
Kittle has 17 catches for 280 yards and 2 TDs this season. He made two receptions for 31 yards vs. Purdue. Noah Fant filled in and had 2 catches for 15 yards and a TD.
