Iowa basketball announces annual team awards
Iowa basketball honored its players with its annual team awards on Tuesday night.
The awards were headlined by sophomore Jordan Bohannon earning the team’s coveted Chris Street award.
Bohannon famously missed a free throw to preserve Street’s school record in a tribute to the former Hawkeye who passed away.
The award is given to a Hawkeye player who exemplifies the spirit, enthusiasm and intensity of Street.
Bohannon also earned the team’s Top Playmaker Award, becoming the sixth Hawkeye to score 400 points and tally 150 assists in a season with three double-doubles and averaged 13.2 points per game, good for second on the team.
