IOWA CITY, Iowa — One of college football’s oldest rivalries and most iconic trophy games takes place today in Minneapolis with Iowa and Minnesota squaring off at TCF Bank Stadium.
The schools play annually for the Floyd of Rosedale trophy, a 98-pound bronze pig. The Hawkeyes (3-2, 1-1 Big Ten) and Gophers (3-1, 0-1) have each claimed the pig three times over the last six years.
