Iowa RB Akrum Wadley raced to the end zone for a 74-yard catch and run touchdown in the first quarter against North Texas, but it was called back for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Wadley high-stepped into the end zone, and that was a step too far in the minds of the referees. That wiped a score off the board. Iowa’s a heavy favorite in this one, but the game is tied at 7 in the first quarter. Will it come back to haunt the Hawkeyes?
Wadley also had a 68-yard catch and run that set up Iowa’s first touchdown of the day.
The call did not go over well on Twitter.
What a horrible call on Iowa. Just awful. Two quick high steps is enough for Unsportsmanlike and TD removal?!
