Since graduating from high school in South Dakota in 2002, Chad Greenway has only known two teams: the Iowa Hawkeyes and Minnesota Vikings.
Greenway will officially say goodbye to the latter on Tuesday when he announces his retirement in a press conference, the Vikings announced on Twitter.

In his 11 years since being selected 17th overall in the 2006 NFL Draft, Greenway has been a stalwart for the Minnesota defense. After missing his rookie year with an ACL injury, Greenway would miss only four regular-season games the rest of his career while averaging 110 tackles per season. He made two Pro Bowls, in 2012 and 2013.
Greenway also had a decorated career with the Hawkeyes, named to All-America teams after the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Not bad for a kid who went unrated by recruiting services out of high school.
