Former Iowa and current Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels is heading to the Pro Bowl. Here is the story from Charean Williams of Pro Football talk. This is Daniels’ first trip to the Pro Bowl after being named an alternate each of the last three seasons. He replaces Aaron Donald.
Breaking down the officials
A Big Ten official told Iowa men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery he was “disturbed” game officials missed an elbow to the head of forward Cordell Pemsl on Sunday at Maryland. McCaffery, who was ejected after the play, talked about the conversation while meeting with reporters on Tuesday.
