Looking for a home win

A trial involving Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz and his neighbors over landscaping and his refusal to join a homeowners association is set for Feb. 6. The Associated Press first reported the news.  Disputes with Ferentz and his neighbors go back for years and hopefully the trial brings an end to the most pressing issues.

Happy days

The Iowa coach is optimistic about the offense line, despite the Hawkeyes having to replace its two best interior lineman. Land of 10 breaks down where things sit up front heading into the 2018 season.

Injury update

There was one bit of injury news coming out of the Iowa football press conference on Wednesday. Iowa defensive tackle Matt Nelson will miss spring practice after sustaining an undisclosed injury in the Pinstripe Bowl.

Addressing a need

The Hawkeyes are chasing a point guard on the recruiting trail. D.J. Carton is an option on the eastern part of Iowa. Tyreke Locure is an option in central Iowa and Matthew Bain of the Des Moines Register introduces Iowa fans to Locure here.
