How are experts predicting Iowa-Boston College in Pinstripe Bowl?

As you can see below, it’s a fairly split projection among college football experts. Of the 20 media personalities who disclosed their projections on various websites and sampled below, 10 picked Iowa and 10 selected Boston College.

The Hawkeyes have lost five straight bowl games dating to the 2010 Insight Bowl. Boston College beat Maryland in the Quick Lane Bowl last year. Both teams are 7-5 and both strive to play physical and run the football. Most — if not all — of the predictions are for a close, virtually even Pinstripe Bowl game, which is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. ET/4:15 p.m. CT Wednesday at Yankee Stadium in New York.

Here are 20 different projections for the Iowa-Boston College matchup from college football media located throughout the United States. A discloser: Land of 10’s Bobby La Gesse picked Iowa 24-17, and I picked Iowa 20-10.
