Last season was a breakout one for the former Hawkeye. Kirksey started in all 16 games for the Browns in 2016, more starts his previous two seasons combined. He made 148 tackles with 2.5 sacks.
According to Rapoport, Kirksey is now the fifth-highest paid inside linebacker in the NFL.
With his 4-yr, $38M deal, #Browns ILB Christian Kirksey is the 5th highest paid player at his position. He believes in what CLE is building.
