Iowa and coach Kirk Ferentz have flipped a recruit.
Three-star DB Geno Stone announced on Tuesday that he’s now committed to Iowa. Stone revealed his choice on Periscope by putting on a Hawkeyes hat and showing an Iowa shirt.
Stone then shared a note on Twitter.
“I want to thank the staff at Kent State for everything and thankful for the opportunity to play at that school,” Stone wrote. “But after talking with my family and friends I decided it’s the best thing for me to decommit from Kent State and pursue my dreams at the University of Iowa!”
