After a frustrating year, it’s only normal to harbor some ill will towards a program’s head coach.
However, this might be taking it too far.
After Indiana lost to Wisconsin 70-60 in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament, one person took exception to the Hoosiers struggles as of late. So much so, he called Tom Cream out as the coach was heading into the tunnel.
A video of the altercation was posted on Twitter.

In the video, a man is seen yelling at Crean as he heads back to the locker room. The man goes far enough to say Crean “ruined the program.” However, that might not be the most interesting part of the altercation.
The strangest part comes when you consider the man yelling at Crean, as he might not even be an Indiana fan. If you look closely in the video, the man yelling at Crean is wearing a jacket with Maryland’s “M” on it.
However you feel about Indiana’s struggles, credit Crean, who’s been the subject of much scrutiny in Bloomington as of late, for not responding to the man. Instead, the coach shrugs it off, points the man out to security, and leaves it be.
Crean been on a presumed hot season in the middle of a seasons where his Hoosiers will most likely miss the 2017 NCAA Tournament, however this is coming one year after the Hoosiers made the Sweet Sixteen in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
Regardless how you feel about Crean, he doesn’t deserve that kind of berating.
