Indiana football added another player to its Class of 2019 on Saturday, as 3-star defensive tackle Sio Nofoagatoto’a announced his commitment to the Hoosiers.
Nofoagatoto’a is a 6-foot-3, 315-pound prospect from Clearwater Academy International in Clearwater, Fla. Although he received 21 total scholarship offers, Nofoagatoto’a ultimately chose Indiana as his school of the future.

“At the end of the day, I have to make the best decision for me and my family, and with all of that being said, [I would] like to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at Indiana University.”
Some of the other schools that extended scholarship offers to Nofoagatoto’a are Arizona, Maryland, Nebraska, UCF and Western Kentucky.
Nofoagatoto’a is the No. 87-ranked defensive tackle in the Class of 2019 and the No. 189-ranked player out of Florida in the class, according to 247Sports 2019 composite rankings.
With Nofoagatoto’a committed, Indiana football’s Class of 2019 currently ranks No. 41 in the nation and No. 11 in the Big Ten.
