Three-star running back prospect Morgan Ellison went all the way to National Signing Day before announcing his commitment. For Indiana fans, it was well worth the wait.
Ellison, from Pickerington, Ohio, announced his commitment through a video on Varsity Magazine’s YouTube account. The heartwarming video, entitled “The Letter: Morgan Ellison Pens His Commitment,” depicts Ellison writing a letter to his late grandfather, to whom he dedicated his commitment.
Ellison listed Ohio, Toledo and Bowling Green among his final four schools, listing those schools over other offers he received, including ones from Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan State.
Not long after, Ellison penned and faxed his Letter of Intent to Indiana, officially making him a Hoosiers running back.
