As Indiana moves closer to the start of the basketball season, the Hoosiers got good news on the injury front.
As reported by Jon Rothstein, Indiana’s Juwan Morgan, who has been recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, has been cleared for all basketball activities.

A former 4-star recruit, Morgan averaged 2.4 points and 2.1 rebounds as a freshman a season ago. Morgan’s return will be more than welcome, as the Hoosiers are without Collin Hartman indefinitely following knee surgery. Hartman suffered a non-contact knee injury.
Rothstein also reported Freddie McSwain, Jr. could be cleared by next week. McSwain, a junior college transfer, has been dealing with a knee injury.
Indiana is set to play Hope College on Tuesday in an exhibition. The Hoosiers then play Bellarmine University in another exhibition on Saturday.
Indiana then begins the regular season against Kansas on Nov. 11 in Hawaii.
