Hiller had been hired by Houston on Jan. 6, 2017 after spending one season as USF’s co-offensive coordinator, run game coordinator and offensive line coach. He had previously served as the offensive line coach at the University of Cincinnati.
Frey left Indiana for Michigan at the end of January after six years with the Hoosiers.
