Indiana sophomore forward OG Anunoby will be out indefinitely after suffering an apparently serious knee injury Wednesday against Penn State.
Anunoby is “in the midst of ongoing medical evaluations,” according to a statement from coach Tom Crean.

Anunoby hurt his knee while battling for positioning in the first half against Penn State. He was helped off the court and did not return, and Crean said after the game that other players were emotional about what appeared to be a serious injury.

Anunoby has averaged 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds on the season. He is considered a potential lottery pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Indiana next plays Saturday at home against Michigan State.
