Well, it looks like Indiana and Utah football fans stayed away the Bay Area.
The Hoosiers and Utes will play in front of thousands of empty seats in Foster Farms Bowl on Wednesday night. The game is being played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Indiana went 6-6 in the regular season to qualify for a bowl game for the second season in a row. The Hoosiers are facing the 19th-ranked Utes, who are 8-4. Fox is televising the game.
Not surprisingly, some people on Twitter made fun of the turnout:

I think there are more people in my family room than there are at the Foster Farms Bowl.

All of IU and Utah must be at home Listening to Gus Johnson cuz nobody, and I mean nobody, is at the Foster Farms Bowl game

It’s not the first Big Ten bowl game to appear to suffer with poor attendance. Many fans didn’t attend Maryland’s Quick Lane Bowl game against Boston College earlier this week.
