Indiana WR J-Shun Harris to miss season after second ACL tear
J-Shun Harris still can’t build on a strong freshman season.
The Indiana wide receiver will miss all of 2016 with a torn ACL, coach Kevin Wilson announced Monday. He missed all of 2015 after tearing the ACL in his other leg last summer. Both injuries were non-contact.

Harris caught 18 balls for 168 yards and 2 TDs as a freshman in 2014. He also returned kicks. That year, he was named to 247Sports.com Big Ten All-Freshman team, was an honorable mention on BTN.com’s All-Big Ten Freshman team and was IU’s Offensive Newcomer of the Year.
The 5-foot-8, 170-pound Fishers, Ind., product was set to be Indiana’s kick and punt returner last season.
Wilson also announced that DL Robert McCary will miss some time with a shoulder injury.
Wilson also said DL Robert McCray will miss a few games with a shoulder injury. McCray was poised to play a big pass-rushing role. #iufb
