Indiana’s spread against Florida International has moved 7 points since opening
People who enjoy betting on college football will rejoice Thursday night when a full slate of games returns for the 2016 season.
People who enjoy betting on early season college football games appear to really like Indiana in the Hoosiers’ first matchup, too.
The point spread on Indiana’s season-opener at Florida International has moved seven points since it opened from Indiana (-3) to Indiana (-10), according to the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. This means most bettors are deciding the Hoosiers will take care of business on the field of a Conference USA opponent.
The Miami Herald pointed out that this might make the Panthers a good early season bet. FIU is coming off a 5-7 season and lost to Indiana, 36-22, last season in Bloomington. FIU was picked to finish fifth in Conference USA’s East Division this season by the media.
