Wilkes, a 6-foot-8 forward from North Central High School (Indianapolis), is one of the top uncommitted recruits in the 2017 class.
He visited UCLA last weekend, and 247Sports has his “crystal ball” percentages at 55 percent UCLA and 33 percent Indiana. According to 247Sports, Wilkes has visits remaining at Xavier and Connecticut. He visited Illinois earlier in the month.
Indiana, which picked up a commitment from a forward earlier in the week, was the first school to offer Wilkes.
