Coach Kevin Wilson hasn’t made an official announcement, but here’s a pretty big hint on Indiana’s starting quarterback.
Richard Lagow is listed as the No. 1 QB for the Hoosiers’ opener against Florida International, with Danny Cameron ‘OR’ Zander Diamont listed as the backup.

Lagow started his college career at Oklahoma State and redshirted in 2013 before transferring to Dionte Dean at Cisco (Texas) Community College, where he played for two years. He enrolled at Indiana in early 2016 and has two years of eligibility left.
Lagow is a 6-foot-6 pocket passer poised to step in for Nate Sudfeld, who had a monster year as a senior in 2015, throwing 27 TDs and 7 INTs while averaging 8.7 yards per attempt. He led the Big Ten in passing yards and touchdowns.
Diamont started Indiana’s final six games as a freshman in 2014 and can beat teams with his legs. Cameron will be a redshirt sophomore this fall and appeared in one game last season.
