Indiana scored a victory on the recruiting trail when 3-star cornerback LaDamion Hunt committed to the Hoosiers on Thursday.
Hunt, a Carrollton, Ga., native made his announcement on Twitter Thursday morning.

Hunt is rated as the No. 164 cornerback nationally in the Class of 2017 and the No. 162 prospect in the state of Georgia. He received 14 scholarship offers, including offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Minnesota, Purdue and West Virginia.
Hunt’s announcement gives Indiana nine commitments in its 2017 class, which currently ranks 72nd nationally and 11th in the Big Ten. He is Indiana’s first commitment from a cornerback in the class.
