Two Big Ten schools were in the trio.
Wilkes, an Indianapolis native and 5-star small forward, narrowed his list to Indiana, Illinois and UCLA. Wilkes previously planned on visiting both Connecticut and Xavier, but the Star reported he canceled those trips.
The 6-foot-8, 195-pound forward visited Illinois on Sept. 9 and he was at Indiana last weekend.

Illinois already has a dynamite 2017 class. The Illini have four commitments, including 5-star forward Jeremiah Tilmon, and their class is currently rated third in the nation.
Indiana’s class sits at three players and No. 24 in the country. The Hoosiers have picked up two commitments in the last two weeks in Justin Smith and Clifton Moore, who made his pledge last weekend.
