Indiana’s Collin Hartman, the team’s lone senior on its 2016-17 roster, underwent successful surgery on his left knee, the program announced Wednesday.
The Hoosiers said there is not yet a timetable for his possible return. He was hurt last week in a non contact drill.
“Any time you see one of your players go down to injury, it tears you up as a person and as a program — even more so when it’s someone like Collin Hartman,” coach Tom Crean said in a statement.
One of the Hoosiers top 3-point shooters, Hartman has hit 40 percent of his triples in his first three seasons. The 6-foot-6 forward scored 5.0 points per game in 21.9 minutes per contest last season.
