Linder ― who earned his degree in finance and entrepreneurship ― did not play in the 2017 season, but he does have plenty of experience under his belt. In 26 career games with the Hurricanes from 2014-16, Linder played 22 games at center and 4 games at left guard. After starting Miami’s first nine games in 2016, he sustained a season-ending shoulder injury.
In a press release, Indiana coach Tom Allen expressed his excitement to add Linder to his team.
“Nick Linder had a very strong career at Miami and we are excited to welcome him to our football program,” Allen said. “He will be completing his master’s degree through the Kelley School of Business and he will be an important addition to our football team.”
