Samuels is originally from Lithonia, Ga. At one point, he was committed to Georgia State.
As a graduate transfer, Samuels is eligible to play this fall. Indiana’s 2018 class consists of 22 members who have signed letters of intent and four who have already enrolled. Samuels is the second defensive tackle in the class, alongside 3-star prospect Shamar Jones.
