Jones, a 6-foot, 219-pound inside linebacker from West Palm Beach, Fla. (Oxbridge Academy), chose Indiana over a dozen other scholarship offers. On March 7, Indiana became the second Division I school to offer Jones. Plenty of other offers followed during the next three months, but after Jones unofficially visited the Hoosiers on June 2-3, it did not take much time for him to end his recruitment and join Tom Allen’s program.
Jones is the No. 30 inside linebacker in the country for 2019, according to the 247Sports composite.
