One week ago, Indiana baseball was ranked No. 10 in the nation. After posting a 4-0 record last week, the Hoosiers moved up two spots to No. 8 in the latest Top 25 rankings.

D1Baseball released its new rankings on Monday morning. Indiana has a record of 26-6 (6-2 in Big Ten) on the season. The Hoosiers currently are riding a six-game winning streak and have won 10 of their last 11 games dating back to March 28.

Indiana began last week with a 6-1 win over Indiana State on Tuesday. The Hoosiers swept a doubleheader against Northwestern on Friday, winning Game 1 by a final score of 12-0 and Game 2 6-3. Indiana finished off the three-game sweep in big fashion on Sunday, blowing out the Wildcats 22-1.

Indiana’s next game will be Tuesday against Notre Dame.

The top 4 teams in the rankings remain the same. Florida remains the No. 1 team in the nation with Stanford close behind at No. 2. Arkansas and N.C. State are still ranked No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.

Texas Tech moved up one spot to No. 5. Kentucky and Oregon State each jumped up two spots to No. 6 and No. 7, respectively. After Indiana at No. 8, Duke and Vanderbilt round out the top 10. Duke previously was ranked No. 14, and Vanderbilt previously as No. 15.

Texas (No. 21), UConn (No. 24) and Minnesota (No. 25) were not ranked last week, but made the cut in these rankings.

Missouri State, Wichita State and Lousiana Tech dropped out of the rankings.
