Indiana announces kickoff time for Sept. 10 home opener vs. Ball State moved to 4 p.m.
Indiana was supposed to begin its 2016 home opener against Ball State on Sept. 10 at noon ET. That kickoff time has been pushed back.
Indiana announced on Friday that kickoff at Memorial Stadium has been pushed back to 4 p.m. ET. No reason was given for the change in start time.
ESPNNEWS will still broadcast the game between the Hoosiers and Cardinals that weekend. Indiana plays seven games at home this season, but will begin its 2016 season on the road against Florida International on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m. ET. Florida International went 5-7 last season, while Ball State went 3-9 a year ago.
The Hoosiers are looking to qualify for consecutive bowl games after losing in last season’s Pinstripe Bowl to Duke.
