After impressing during his NBA Summer League debut, former Indiana guard Yogi Ferrell signed a contract with the Brooklyn Nets, according to the Indianapolis Star’s Zach Osterman.
The program’s all-time leader in games played and assists clearly did enough to impress the Nets during Summer League action, averaging 8.8 points and 1.8 assists in four games. Ferrell also worked out with the Nets during the pre-draft process, although he ultimately went undrafted last month.
Ferrell averaged 17.3 points and 5.6 assists during the final season of his decorated Hoosiers career. Perhaps he has found a permanent home in the NBA.
