Former Indiana QB Nate Sudfeld throws TD in first NFL game
It’s only the preseason, but NFL rookie Nate Sudfeld threw a touchdown pass in his first game.
The former Indiana star was 10-for-15 for 89 yards and that touchdown, which was the Washington Redskins’ only touchdown pass in Thursday’s 23-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

On Sudfeld’s TD drive, he led a nine-play 34-yard drive. He found Marcel Jensen on third down for a 6-yard TD.
Back in Bloomington, the Hoosiers must find a way to replace Sudfeld. The 6th round draft pick finished his Indiana career No. 1 in program history in passing yards (7,879), passing TDs (61) and in other categories. Here’s one of his Indiana touchdowns.
