College baseball rankings: Indiana remains in top 10 in latest D1Baseball Top 25
Indiana baseball stayed put at No. 10 in the latest D1Baseball.com Top 25 released Monday.
Despite a 3-2 Big Ten record, the Hoosiers (22-6 overall) are the conference’s only representative in the rankings, which include eight SEC teams and five ACC teams. Florida (28-6) tops the rankings, with Stanford, Arkansas, North Carolina State and Ole Miss rounding out the top 5.
This past weekend, Indiana took two of three games from visiting Purdue. After suffering a 4-2 loss on Friday, the Hoosiers responded with a 14-1 shellacking on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, the Hoosiers and Boilermakers played until the 13th inning before Logan Kaletha launched a two-run, walk-off home run to give his team the series win.
This week, Indiana will host Indiana State on Tuesday before returning to Bart Kaufman Field for a weekend set with Northwestern.
