Former Indiana running back Camion Patrick has been charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Alcoa, Tenn., according to the USA Today network.
University police arrested Patrick, who still attends Indiana, on Wednesday morning. Patrick, 22, was being held in Bloomington, Ind., and awaiting extradition to Blount County, Tenn., according to the report. His brother, Isaiah Wright, 20, also was arrested.
The brothers each have been charged with one count of criminal homicide, according to the report. The man who was killed has been identified as Caleb Radford, 18, of Maryville, Tenn. He died on July 25.
Police already had charged two other men with criminal homicide in Radford’s death.
Patrick’s promising career at Indiana was cut short because of injury. He was slowed by a torn ACL during the spring of 2016 and also hurt his shoulder last season. The program announced his college career was over in July.
