Kris Wilkes, a 5-star forward from Indianapolis North Central High, has trimmed his list to five. Last month, Wilkes announced his final 11 schools, and included Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State, and Michigan.
Wilkes has cut that list down to five, and only Indiana and Illinois remain of Big Ten schools. Wilkes is also considering UCLA, Xavier, and Connecticut.

Wilkes in the 15th-rated player in the country according to 247Sports.com and second-best in Indiana for the class of 2017.
As it stands, IU has only one pledge for the class of 2017 in 3-star guard Aljami Durham. Illinois is a bit better off, especially after landing 5-star forward Jeremiah Tilmon last month.
