Lovie Smith is about to coach his first game as the head coach of Illinois, and the fan base is already showing its support.
As Smith and the Illini entered Memorial Stadium on their “Illini Walk’ prior to Saturday afternoon’s game against Murray State. There was a large crowd for Smith, the former Chicago Bears coach.
