Illinois has its second quarterback commitment for the 2018 recruiting class.
3-star Cordel Littlejohn committed to the Illini on Thursday, announcing his choice on Twitter.

Littlejohn is rated by 247 Sports composite as the No. 45 dual-threat quarterback for his class. The Roswell quarterback is also rated No. 160 in Georgia out of all prospects.
The 6-foot-4, 190-pound quarterback also had an offer from Tulane.
With Littlejohn’s commitment, Illinois has two quarterback commits for 2018. The other is 3-star QB Coran Taylor (Peoria, Ill.). The Illini have 14 commits.
Coach Lovie Smith’s 2017 team opens its season at 12 p.m. ET Saturday at home against Ball State. The game is on the Big Ten Network.
