If you’re an Ohio State fan, here’s a reason to stay positive despite the loss.
Ohio State is now at 3/1 to win the title, with Alabama at 8/5 following Saturday’s results. At 5/1, Michigan is third, according to Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.
At initial glance, it would be easy to be surprised by this, considering the Wolverines are unbeaten and now No. 2 in the polls. But if Ohio State wins out, the Buckeyes will be an easy pick to make the College Football Playoff, especially if Michigan wins until the Nov. 26 showdown.
In other words, Ohio State has always been able to overcome a loss. The only difference now is that because the loss has happened, the Buckeyes need to be perfect from here on out.
As for the Heisman race, Louisville QB Lamar Jackson remains the clear favorite at 1/3. Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett is 10/1 and Michigan’s Jabrill Peppers is 12/1.
