After three weeks of college football play, there’s a new Heisman favorite in the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook Heisman odds but there’s one Big Ten players remain in the top half of the list.
Louisville’s Lamar Jackson now has the best odds to win the Heisman with 6-5 odds, however, Ohio State’s J.T. Barrett comes in second with 6-1 odds. Barrett isn’t the only notable Big Ten player on the Superbook’s list, as Michigan defensive back Jabrill Peppers and Penn State running back Saquon Barkley come it with odds of 60-1 and 50-1, respectively.

Barrett’s odds rose from 12-1 to 6-1 after he piloted the Buckeyes to a 45-24 win over No. 14 Oklahoma with a four touchdown performance where he completed 70 percent of his passes.
Interestingly enough, Peppers’ odds remain at 60-1, even after his multi-skilled performance against Colorado. Peppers had a sack, nine tackles, 208 all-purpose yards and a return touchdown which turned out to be the game-sealing touchdown in the Wolverines 45-28 win.
Although Barkley didn’t repeat the five-touchdown performance he had against Pitt this week when the Nittany Lions took on Temple, his odds fell from 80-1 to 50-1 as he scored another touchdown in Penn State’s 34-27 win.
