A full day hasn’t passed since news broke that Clemson defensive tackle Scott Pagano is transferring, but teams are already lining up to express interest.
That includes a handful of Big Ten schools, as Ohio State, Nebraska and Maryland have all contacted the graduate transfer, according to 247Sports’ Ryan Bartow:
In the last 18 hours since receiving his release, Pagano has received contact from 32 programs already.
That group includes LSU, Washington, Arizona State, Kentucky, Charlotte, North Carolina, Cal, Temple, Oklahoma State, FIU, FAU, East Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Nebraska, Maryland, Ole Miss, Utah State, Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, Texas A&M, Oregon, USC, Louisville, Oklahoma, Memphis, Ohio State, Baylor, Notre Dame, SMU, Purdue and Hawaii.
Pagano has one remaining year of eligibility and would be able to play immediately.
Pagano started four games and played in 12 for the Tigers last season, totaling 299 snaps and recording 31 total tackles, including 4.5 tackles for a loss.
