Pro Football Focus’ week 9 offensive Team of the Week had a heavy Big Ten flavor.
Five Big Ten players were listed on the offensive team by PFF, a service that grades football players. The Big Ten was the most represented conference on offense as Michigan wide receiver Amara Darboh, Northwestern slot wide receiver Austin Carr, Ohio State offensive tackle Isaiah Prince, Penn State offensive tackle Paris Palmer and Maryland offensive guard Mike Minter all made the team.

Illinois defensive end Dawuane Smoot was listed to the defensive team.
Of Darboh, who had a career-high 165 yards and eight receptions, PFF said he “was as efficient as it gets.” Here’s what they had to say about Prince and Palmer at tackle:
What a difference a week makes as Prince bounced back from one of the worst games of the season against Penn State to show well in the run game this week, while not allowing a pressure on 35 dropbacks. Palmer had a similar turnaround as he had his worst game of the season the previous week against Ohio State but he was an asset in the run game against Purdue and allowed only one hurry on 28 attempts.
