UAB basketball graduate transfer Nick Norton is getting some interest from two of the top teams in the Big Ten.
Norton, who averaged 7.2 points and 3.8 assists per game in the 2017-18 season, will meet with Ohio State and Purdue in the coming days, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

A 5-foot-10 point guard, Norton was a starter for three seasons with UAB. In 100 career college games, he averaged 7.8 points, 4.5 assists and shot 36.6 percent on 3-point attempts. He announced his intentions to leave UAB on April 2.

Purdue and Ohio State both went 15-3 in Big Ten play last season, and both programs are losing a lot of production.
The Boilermakers said goodbye to four productive seniors and guard Carsen Edwards is testing the 2018 NBA Draft process.
Ohio State, meanwhile, lost three seniors and 2017-18 Big Ten Player of the Year Keita Bates-Diop after Chris Holtmann’s first season. The Buckeyes landed Florida State point guard transfer CJ Walker over the weekend, but Walker will not be eligible until the 2019-20 season.
