Among the 51 former Big Ten players who will attend the NFL combine, Michigan and Ohio State combined to make up 41 percent of the list. The event will occur from Feb. 28-March 6 in Indianapolis.
According to the Detroit Free Press, S Jabrill Peppers, RB De’Veon Smith, TE Jake Butt, WR Jehu Chesson, OL Ben Braden, DE Taco Charlton, CB Jourdan Lewis, DT Ryan Glasglow, S Delano Hill, CB Channing Stribling, LB Ben Gedeon, WR Amara Darboh and CB Jeremy Clark will serve as the Wolverines’ participants.
For the Buckeyes, RB Curtis Samuel, S Malik Hooker, WR Noah Brown, P Cameron Johnston, CB Marshawn Lattimore, C Pat Elflein, CB Gareon Colney and LB Raekwon McMillan will all attend the combine.
In Bleacher Report’s latest mock draft, Steve Silverman has Lattimore listed as the first Ohio State player selected at No. 13 overall while Peppers is projected to go two picks later. The 6-foot-1, 192-pound Ohio native produced four interceptions for the Buckeyes this season. Although the 6-1, 205-pound Peppers only notched one in his three years in Ann Arbor, Mich., it came against the Wolverines’ archenemy in 2016.
