Walton earned the honor after averaging 16.5 points and 11 assists between last week’s two games, which included a career-high 16 assists against Nebraska. Swanigan, who won the award for the sixth time this season, posted two more double-doubles against Indiana and Northwestern to help the Boilermakers clinch the Big Ten regular-season championship.

Also collecting an honor was Iowa’s Jordan Bohannon, who was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after averaging 11 points and 5 assists between two games against Wisconsin and Penn State. Three of those points came in the form of a game-winning 3-pointer against Wisconsin, the alma mater of his two brothers, Jason and Zach.
