The Wolverines have dominated their series against Purdue, going 44-14 all-time against the Boilermakers. In the teams’ most recent meeting, Michigan won at Purdue, 44-13, in 2012. As members of different Big Ten divisions (Michigan in the East, Purdue in the West), the programs haven’t met since.
Michigan has won three in a row against Purdue, spanning 2010 to 2012. The Boilermakers won the previous two meetings in 2008 and 2009. That two-game win streak by Purdue was its first against the Wolverines since the Boilermakers won five in a row from 1962 to 1966.
