Big Ten basketball is the only sport crowning a conference champion this weekend.
The Big Ten women’s gymnastics teams finished their regular seasons Saturday, and not one but two teams clinched the regular-season title.
Michigan and Nebraska both finished with 8-1 Big Ten records this season, and will split a share of the crown as they prepare for the Big Ten gymnastics tournament next weekend.

Four Huskers won individual competitions at the Big Five meet: Jennie Laeng won the overall competition, Ashley Lambert and Sienna Crouse tied for the vault title and Grace Williams won on the beam.
Michigan finished its regular season at its own Big Five meet, but this one was held in Iowa City. The Wolverines used three events to seal the win over Penn State, Rutgers, Minnesota and host Iowa.
The Wolverines’ Paige Zazaski (bars) and Olivia Karas (vault) took home individual awards. Michigan’s Nicole Artz and Emma McLean tied with Minnesota’s Paige Williams for the title on the floor exercise.
Michigan and Nebraska will put their regular-season titles to the test at the Big Ten Tournament, which is being held in Piscataway, N.J., this year. The Big Ten tourney flips into action on March 18 at noon and 5 p.m. ET.
