Marquis Wilson is one of the most coveted prospects in the 2019 recruiting class, as the defensive back from Avon Old Farms High School in Avon, Conn. is a 4-star recruit, according to 247Sports.
With plenty of interest from several college football programs around the country, Wilson announced on Twitter on Monday night that he has narrowed his options down to 10 schools. Half of the schools in his top 10 are from the Big Ten, which includes Ohio State, Penn State, Nebraska, Michigan and Iowa.
The five other schools in his top 10 are Alabama, Pitt, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Syracuse.

The 6-foot, 175-pound Wilson is the No. 2 prospect from Connecticut, according to 247Sports composite rankings. In addition, 247Sports considers Wilson a “Top Athlete Recruit” for the 2019 recruiting class. Among the other players in his class in the same category, Wilson is ranked No. 24.
Nationally, he is ranked No. 283 overall.
