The Big Ten makes up half of his final choices — those being Purdue and Minnesota. Nichols, according to 247Sports, is a 3-star RB from Southfield, Mich. Despite being from the state of Michigan, no school in the state made his top 4.
Indiana is the only other school in the Big Ten to offer Nichols a scholarship to this point. He currently has 14 scholarship offers. Nichols is ranked by the 247Sports composite as the No. 48 RB in his class and the No. 17 player in Michigan.
Purdue, according to the website’s Crystal Ball predictions, is the lone school to receive a vote as to where Nichols may land.
