One of the nation’s top athletes released his list of top schools Wednesday, which included more than a dozen schools. However, a few Big Ten teams are in the running for the versatile player.
Joshua Moore, a class of 2018 4-star wide receiver/safety hybrid out of Yoakum, Texas, included Ohio State, Michigan and Nebraska in his extensive list of 14 schools. The other schools were Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M and Tennessee.

According to 247Sports, Moore, whose recruiting video proclaims him as the “most versatile athlete in the country,” is listed as the seventh-best recruit in the state of Texas and the No. 8 wide receiver prospect in the nation. He’s also listed as the No. 63 recruit on ESPN’s top-300 list.
Moore’s list of 14 schools may seem like a lot, as most recruits release lists of about a half-dozen programs. However, it makes sense considering how many offers he has — his 247Sports recruiting profile says he has 50 scholarship offers.
Of those schools, seven were from the Big Ten. The four that didn’t make the cut were Illinois, Michigan State, Maryland and Purdue.
